Please remember to always lock all the doors in your vehicle, and don't leave your vehicle running. Windows of course are an easy entry point for any would be thief or hijacker so roll windows up tight, make sure they are snug. Even a crack in the window can allow easy access to the inside. Remember thieves base their crime on the amount of time to "get in" and "out". They will actually plan their "spree" on how much time it will take to make an escape, so anything in place that will cause them a delay will frustrate their plans. Another simple remedy is to install tamper proof door lock buttons. These buttons are very frustrating when time is a factor. Engraving a number on valuables will help police identify your property, and remember not to leave any valuables in plain sight, put them under a jacket, behind the seat or in the trunk. Spare keys should be hidden in a place that is hard to find, this may take some imagination.
